damn j, i wish i lived next door to you..LOL!!!

hey, how long did you keep your plants in veg? is the longer the better?
they were in veg for around 90 days, +/- a few, but i would of flowered them sooner, but i was having probs w/ bad tents, & now they are so big, there is no room for them. but generally yes, the bigger te plant the bigger the yeild if u have enough light.

u need to look up the sunrise/sunset for your area, & see when the days get to 12hrs sunup, & 12hrs sundown, the 12/12 is what triggers flowering, but generally in that state, id say yes its ok, but its prob best if u started indoors.

this thing is coming right along.

Pinned up the HID/HPS and will use the T5s 4 footer 8 bulbs with 6500K for some veg, on the newly rooted clones well ready for the new system "NOW",and the moms will use six 26watt CFLs in reflectors to keep them going instead of running another 1K HID/MH(which i would rather do).(and may still do,what bulb guys??)

Ordering the 6"x1.5" .5cfm diffusers with the 1/2" nipples for the 1/2" vinyl line which will feed the 2,4cfm air to the water via my new Alita AL series 60 (older model with the expensive aluminum construction instead of the newer higher priced plastic ones) which have the sane insides, paid $140.00 and now they sell for 2-300.(and plastic too)

The nute cooler will be used soon as the temps spike, runnin a pro pump 375 in thr 7th control bucket for circulation only and the 6 main BBs will house the monster air diffusers.

The 7th control bucket also has a 1/4" float to keep the R/O water lever consistent, i just watch the PPM and PH every two days.

The air pump and the control bucket are 7 feet away from the light to keep cool and the system is VERY quiet with the two separate air/water pump systems working together to grow the finest buds anywhere.

The control bucket houses the water pump pushing the solution through the 3/4" bulkhead to the upper parts of the buckets causing a waterfall effect thus breaking the surface tension as does the macro bubble systems in each buckets.

3 of the six BBs will return solutions via three 3/4" bulkheads straight to the lower part of the control bucket while the other three will return the last three to the BBS lower part as well.

Custom bucket tops were made for 6" plastic net pots secured with a top black plastic circular piece secured with four self tapping screws, hydroton was washed extensively and filled to accommodate the 1"rooted RW cubes in the center of the basket receiving the 100% moisture made from the semi closed environment and the extremely high out put from the pumps and diffusers providing the RW cubes with all the needed nutes and DO from the systems design.

Any questions upgrades or comments are very welcomed and i will respond to all enquiries.
1st, its a ocelot/ocicat , & next, i really cant say anything about your setup, looks like u got it all together & are ready to grow some dank. u can prob wrap that 7th bucket in foil tape to reflect light to help keep it cool, vs being black & black absorbes heat. ive also seen ppl use blowers/fans to cool their buckets.

Hello again,

just wanted to say thanks again, and my little girls seem to be taking well to the ferts, i dont know if its all in my head but it seems to be getting just a little bit greener already.. thanks.. im going to feed them in 7-10 days depending on the soil/rain.. and im going to keep it at 1/4 for the next feed im also going to add the epson salt, superthrive and a little hydrogen peroxide, ill keep you posted.. and thanks for breaking it down for me..

what i really want to know is the sex, im going to try and get a better pic... i went out and got a little 60-100x adjustable pocket microscope.. its hard to work with.. but if i am right i should be looking at that little pointing thing on the right, right next to the node.. just like in the picutre i posted a few pages ago

even if it a little early to be looking for sex.. at the first sign of a flower( preflower ).. will the male have little hairs on it as well??
to be honest, im not sure what im looking at its hard to find under the lens because its upside down, the little hairs on the main stem/stalk also look a little white under that powerful of a lens...
i just want to know if i am looking in the right spot and at the right thing... for all i know it could be another shoot.. but i dont think so.. im pretty sure im right from everything i looked at so far..

Yet again, point me in the right direction please.. thanks a Bunch..

no, males wont have any hairs, just a pod, & u want to look right next to those "hairs/growth" off the stalk @ the nodes. preflowers will have a pod like growth @ the node.

Ocicat is the one bro,and the control bucket you see is located away from light and heat and in an east place to test the PH/PPM,actually i think i will just add the Hannah online meter inside the controller makin it easier to do nothing but watch.

Yes i do, but not for that reason, the carpet fibers(and cat hair)find their way into the flowers throughout the grow and are a pain in the arse, only a scope will reveal them but it can be fixed with plastic.

When i started growin i went so far as to look into some 45mil roofing/pond liners to make a huge tub in the whole room but never got to it and feel ok about keepin leaks away, carpet is cheap, its the cleanup around growing girls that bothers me.

Yeah, I started out being ultra clean but as time went on I let it go to hell to a certain extent.....glad I had plastic down!
