Geat job man,we will be waiting for a complete smoke test.

What i did in the 5-6th week when the spears were lookin like they were going to topple is i just pulled one of my lil spring loaded NIE-CO-ROL fishing string thingys around the whole bunch and adj. it so it had enough bud spacing but were kept from ever falling over.

hey guys.. just a couple quick questions, my plants are looking pretty good btw, the one under the lights has fan leaves that are wide and fit the palm of my hand.

the big one, the one outside, the fan leaves are the size of my hand. will post pics later.

here my questions..

first, the one outside is almost 2 ft tall, lovely too, and today i topped it. well, when i did that, there was purple juice that came from the stem where i cut it.. wtf is that?

poor plant, i feel like i hacked it to death...

will the top of the plant grow roots if i put it in water? i put it in a bowl, but i dont know.

That top could be a clone or two,show us a pic,the problem is now you may have caused an embolism but since you put it in water it may work but it needs to be put in soil or some medium just not water,is it wilting yet?

well, the thing is, is that im not actually trying to clone the plant on purpose, i just was curious if it COULD be a clone. and if thats normally where one would get a clone.. i have to move soon, so the less plants the better.. it did wilt a little, but like i said im not to worried. i hate to kill the poor baby, but..

what about the purpleish liqud..what is that?

that purple stuff is like blood to us, its ok, it does that to repair itself. ive tryed to root tops ive cut but w/ no success, but those where my 1st attempt to clone. u can get almost any cutting to root, even w/o cloning hormone, u just have a lower success rate. but when u take a cut u have to move it into water asap or it can get a embolism (air bubble up the stem) & then it dies. u can try getting cloning gel/powder from lowes/walmart & try to re-cut it. re-cut it about a 1/4" up @ a 45 degree angle w/ a razor (sterile) underwater, then split the 45 degree cut up & down the stem (for more surface area for roots), dip in gel/powder & plant & put in some sort of humidity dome over it, & mix a mild nute solution & mist 2 time aday. read this http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-...g-dummies.html

normally clones are tasken from lower branches, the purple stuff is like blood to a plant, its ok.

I figure that since I have a couple of branches that I couldn't really salvage I'd dry 'em out & give 'em a try......I wouldn't think of ruining my whole effort at the very end.

I'm actually using both of those techniques in combination along w/some plastic "rope" in areas where I can, but there are spots in the back that I cant get near except to slither between the bags enough to clip the branch & fish it out after it drops.

Thankfully the back & side walls are giving nice support to some killer lookin' buds!!

I was just checking hairs/trichs again & it looks like there has been NO changes really in the last 3-4 days. 50-60% red hairs maybe, 50-70% cloudy trichs 5-10% amber trichs max....a few have a small amber glow.

I've only given them 1/2 the amt. of water the last 2 times & was thinking I might be done watering now but I'm getting worried since there has been so little change recently.

What do you guys recommend I do?

a quick question about topping, will i need to lengthen the vegetative time of a topped plant in order to get the same yield? let's say i have two plants i'm gonna veg for 4 weeks regardless, and i top one but not the other, which would hypothetically have the better yield? is topping only for when you have a long veg state?

Okay, so my boyfriend and I have 4 babies growing right now. Okay, mostly him, but I like to be a part of it too. Anyways, we are growing in a small closet in a studio apartment. He had one plant before, and let me tell you, it smelled. So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to minimize the oder. Let me know if you have any ideas.

it will prob be a little weaker & harsher, w/o being cured, & the high might be a little dif as well, but how, im not sure.

it such a drag to have a jungle
