I'd rather not mix my own soil at this stage, because i'm fairly new and don't have ample amounts of money at the time. But is there a miracle grow brand that anyone would reccomend for this purpose.
fox farm ocean forest is your best bet if u can get it. other than that go w/ miracle grow organic potting mix (brown bag, not green bag), & buy some perlite & mix in w/ the soil @ a 4 to 1 ratio. 4 parts soil, 1 part perlite. DO NOT GET ANY MIRACLE GROW SOIL UNLESS ITS ORGANIC, & DONT GET SOILS W/ TIMED RELEASED FERTS IN THEM, ITS BAD

The NLxBB stem is real flimsy as some roots were ripped as the other two to a lesser degree..

We will see if the root system will allow me to continue flushing the NLxBB,i added two 1/2" dowels all the way to the bottom and drilled a hole in the tops to add a tie in an attempt to keep them sturdy for the next week or so to come.

JCJ,I really want to keep my new mothers as small as possible but they continue to flourish and i only have 4 of the T5s on ATM and have aggressively been chopping them at the tops.

I only need two clones off each one every 8-10 weeks, other than this can you give me any other advice so they stay small?

There in 3 gal pots now and i was planning on a TX to the 5s when i harvest but that would just add to their size right?

There 12" and i keep cutting them each week to keep them there,is this ok?

What a drag!!

That's why I was afraid to stack bags, with my bad luck I'd ruin all my plants!!

yea u can keep chopping them, or u can cut off 50% of the top of the plant (a plant will live as long as 50% is left on), & leave the bottom for clones, & try to root the top & flower it. or just keep taking clones as moms & flower the og mom. u can also keep the size down, by when u go to TX them, u cut off some of the root mass & repot it in the same size pot, ive never done it, but ive heard of ppl cutting roots, u could also flower them & then regenerate them "regeneration". hope those that fell are ok.

REGENERATION - Cannabis Growing Guide
It is possible to harvest plants and then rejuvenate them vegetatively for a 2nd and even 3rd harvest. A second harvest can be realized in as little as 6-8 weeks. Since the plant stalk, and roots are already formed, the plant can produce a second, even third harvest of buds in a little more than half the time of the original harvest. When harvesting, take off the top 1/3rd of the plant. Leave most healthy fan leaves in the middle of the plant, cutting buds off branches carefully. On the lower 1/3rd of the plant, take off end flowers, but leave several small flowers on each branch. These will be the part of the plant that is regenerated. The more buds you leave on the plant, the faster it will regenerate. Feed the plant some Miracle Grow or any high nitrogen plant food immediately after harvest. When you intend to regenerate a plant, make sure it never gets too starved for nitrogen as it is maturing, or all the sun leaves will fall off, and your plant will not have enough leaves to live after being harvested.

Harvested plants can come inside for rejuvenation under continuous light or are left outside in Summer to rejuvenate in the natural long days. It will take 7-14 days to see signs of new growth when regenerating a plant. As stated before, and in contrast to normal growth patterns, lower branches will be the first to sprout new vegetative growth. Allow the plant to grow a little vegetatively, then take outside again to reflower. Or keep inside for vegetative cuttings. You now have two or three generations of plants growing, and will need more space outside. But you will now be harvesting twice as often. As often as every 30 days, since you have new clones or seedlings growing, vegetative plants ready to flower, and regenerated plants flowering too.

Regenerating indoors can create problems if your plants are infected with pests. It may be best to have a separate area indoors that will not allow your plants to infect the main indoor area. An alternative to regenerating indoors is to regenerate outdoors in the Summer. Just take a harvest in June, then allow the plant to regenerate by leaving some lower buds on the plant, and leaving the middle 1/3rd of the plant leaves at harvest. Feed it nitrogen, and make sure it gets lots of sun. It will regenerate all Summer and be quite large by Fall, when it will start to flower again naturally.

\We will see what happens, the buds are so heavy they MUST be held up as they are just falling over unless i support them all the way around.
Maybe its cause i cut several lateral lower branches off early in flower and tall ones are getting all the love.

Sounds like a horrible problem....having such huge buds that you have to support them!!! I sure hope I get to deal with that issue down the road!

What are your thoughts about trimming off the very lowest set of leaves if they have turned yellow & are slowly dying off?

I finally got a new Oakton PH meter from the grow shop as mine was found defective, so now I can monitor PH a lot closer & hopefully correct my spotting.

I have read a few threads recommending Cal Mag as a supplement to my FF Big Bloom & Grow Big nutes so I got some & am trying it out. I assume that the spotting won't go away, just wont show up on more leaves, correct?

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!!

Cal-mag is used mostly for ppl who use pure R/O and nutes that are deficient in calcium and or magnesium.

You can get a print out of just what the chem. make up is of your city water for free too.

I use pure R/O and have considered cal-mag but i think GH and Lucas find it unnecessary.
But i still use a shit load of AN products though, makes me feel like a mad scientist and im thinking it really helps make nice smoke, but what do i know?
