Plan is to replace/refill res. each week,is that ok? And my research says follier feeds 2-3 daily if poss. but F. feeds during flowering can promote bud rot,ive seen many inc. suspects white rino grow in flower cycle with wet leaves so whats the 411?

The fixture i am looking at is sealed with glass with 6" ducting,my 10'x6'x7' flower room will start with two 600w. fix. with their own cooling/filtering(dust in the fix.)from another cool room to the attic (closed sys.) Venting the room itself by therostat control. Or should i use the wing type (open fix.) and increase the venting?

How much grow dif. would a Hortilux eye 600w. HPS $100 bulb have to the cheaper $40 ones? Any life dif.?

Is there any real dif. between a cool tube light and a sealed and ducted light in the 600w. size,if there is where can i find one? Seems at 600w. you would want a good sized reflector, not something in a smallish tube.

What kind of magnifying glass do I need to look at trichomes? and to identify males or females? can I use 1 glass for both causes?

you dont need to refill res, just add to it every wk, checking ph & tds, & yes f feeding is good, but during flowering its ok if its a fine mist & u dont soak the plant & try just getting the leaves, & give the plants time to dry between sprays w/ plenty of air flow, id stop f feeding during the last 2wks.

you lose some lumens from the glass, & w/ the bulb being enclosed the heat will decrease the life of the bub, but it will keep the temp down some, so its up to you which way u want to go. do what best for your situation.

those bulbs cost more b/c they put off more lumens (= more growth), but the extra lumens come from the extra "blue" light they add to the hps bulb. if you have the $ go for it, they have a better cri.

the cooltube are good & meant for small enclosed grow rooms, w heat & vent issues, & the cooltubes can be kept closer to the plants vs others.

any one will work that is @ least 30x or more. you can use a jewelers loop, a read magnifying glass, radio shack has a 60-100x pocket microscope for 10$, or get this http://cgi.ebay.com/Jakks-EyeClops-T...QQcmdZViewItem, & u dont need one to tell the dif between male & female.

With the right amt. of air flow in the lighting syst. my thought was the light would be cooler than without it allowing the light to be closer and last longer,this cool air could be brought from another cool room with its own 6" 450 cfm vortex fan. Is this possible?
