u can take some cardboard & cut it as long as the light & prob 3-4 times the width, & fold it down the center like a tent, & either paint it flat white or line it w/ foil (dull side out), or mylar. then just place over top of fixture, so u have flaps hanging below the bulbs to reflect the light back in. this is just a quick fix, cheap diy. or fold it like this:

That 1000bulbs.com has VERY cheap HID MH bulbs from Sylvania and hortilux(110,000 lumens)
but it seems they are at the 3700-4000K temps.

There only like $30-$35,is this color ok since they are MH or is it required they be 5000-6000K?

has anyone used grow bags?

are there any real differences between plastic pots and grow bags?

im thinking in terms of space issues. meaning round pots will take up more space than grow bags.

oh right almost forgot, has anyone ever seen their leaves grow almost 90 degrees downward. like right in the middle of the leaf. kinda strange wonder what it could mean. and its only happening on one plant out of the bunch.

correct me if Im wrong but, I got my seeds from some schwag "brick weed" cause Im in Texas and thats what we can get, cause there are never seeds in dro. but the kill I got was some fire, so... when my plants are budding I should get some dank weed, right? as long as I care for them good and shit, right?

Id say yes,what YOU grow from those seeds will be much better than the schwag they came from.

most mh bulbs should be 6500-5000k. they dont have to be 6500-5000k, but the more blue the lusher your foliage will be, & greener too. blue light stimulates foliage growth, & will have a fuller compact plant.

joerocket uses grow bags, but i dont think youll save that much space w/ them vs pots

a pic would help. but ive never seen or heard of this. a pic can help. if its not causeing any probs, then dont worry about it. maybe overwatering or underwatering

it should be better than what it came from, ive seen some awsome looking bagseed plants. brick weed is the way it is b/c of the way its been handled & packed. the more its handled & packed, the less potent it will be.

if u can change the ballast, & the bulb fittings, then yes it will work.
