they say 2-3 time their size, not just heigth, but width too. but it always dosent do that. i think they mean it will double or triple in size till it reaches the plants max heigth. eg: indicas are around 3ft tall, so i wouldnt expect them to get 6' or 9' tall during flowering, if u where to flower a 18" plant then maybe it would double to 3'. im sure u follow

Hello, I am about to begin my first grow when I move in a month. I was wondering about odor control and carbon filters. Would having an exhaust fan covered with a carbon filter be sufficient? Is there anything that I should look for or avoid in carbon filters? Would something like this work? Any info you can give me on carbon filters and oder control would be great, thanks.

You have nothing to worry about by using any 150watt HPS in any apartment....EVER!

nl is a ok strain when it comes to odor, big bud is too, u want to stay asway from strains w/ fruity names & such b/c these will smell. the t5 + the 125w cfl pushes u up to around 225w, so the 150w will lower the cost, unless u use both.

depending on the # of plants a exaust fan & carbon filter will do. for a better idea go to www.htgsupply.com & look at the odor control stuff. the 1st link i say no, the 2nd link is closer to what youll need.

u can use black & white poly plastic sheets, or go buy some styrofoam insulation they use for houses to make walls & paint them a flat white

I am currently growing some Joey Weed NLxC99 that from all I have read is very low odor. Mind you, I am only 2+ weeks into veg at this point so I can't give any 1st hand sniffer reports, but search on the forums a bit & you'll find some reviews. I also have some AK47xC99 waiting it's turn at the big times, it's supposed to be very low odor as well.

hey guys, i came on & answered the ?'s that where here when i got home, but im not going to be on tonight. my dr. visit didnt go like i wanted it to, got bad news. i know i got a responsibility to yall here, but i cant think straight for myself much less for yall & i dont want to mis inform anybody. im going to take the night to myself to relax & think. really sorry guys.
