heres the shot w/ the diy humidifer/chiller on (only for 10mins) & the temp dropped from 79.1 to 77.9, & the RH rised from 43% to 52% in 10mins, & would prob change more if left on longer, but i had to leave.
How on earth did you do that

My stem strength has really come a long way in a couple of days, between the straws cut in half for support, the fan and moving my light closer each day, they seem to be good now.

The leaves seem to be drooping a bit though......

P3250032.jpg

I am using a 50/50 mix of FF OF and chunky pearlite and watered them 4 days ago until I got enough runoff for a PH test...6.3 in and 6.7 out. No nutes yet. I have a cheapo stick-in moisture meter that reads on the line between the green wet and the red dry sections.....just using that as a backup to the pick-it-up-and-feel-it method.

I can't imagine these are overwatered, but maybe. I'm thinking I'm letting them get too dry....what do you think?

Do they look like they could use nutes at this point? I have the FF line....big bloom, tiger bloom & big grow. I have read that a 25% mixture is good to start, what's your opinion?

I'm in a dilemma about when to start the flushing (the last two weeks till harvest).

I didn't write down the actual starting date on the lil clones cause i thought they would die,but they got about 3 weeks of CFLs then went into the bigger room on 3-4-08 or so.

So if that's true their at about 6 weeks and if i give them their (last sched.and complex AN feed, which is only one sup."Super Tea Bloom")tomorrow then i would start the 7-14 day flush.

The hairs are still 60% white from the bottom to about 2/3 to the top,and the trics have all three types of colors.

Are all hairs supposed to turn red at harvest and do they change colors faster the last two weeks? I know Nirvana says 8 weeks for all my strains but its when the trics are where you want and timing the start of the flush for my first grow has frankly got me a bit frustrated cause if i wait too long the THC can degrade as i flush the chem. out of my plants.

I need some advice and ill try to post some pics so they may help too.
One plant in particular only has about 10 big fan leaves and their all yellow but witha gentle pull still stay on and make me think its at the end of its life cycle, but how close, can i give the last feed tomorrow and do flush watering's for a week every other day then harvest and if trics are not quite ready flush a few more days?

I think you would get a closer runoff # if you use 75% FFOF.

I'm planning on using that mix on my next transplant, it's my 1st real grow & I was going by another tip I got but I agree it seems too light & airy.

Thanks for the advice, I need it!

Ok, learning all the time (thanks to the kind folks here).....I decided to check more than 1 of my plants & wouldn't you know they're reading fairly wet still. I think I hit a dry spot (50/50 mix error I'd bet) on the 1st plant because after re-checking it I get a fairly wet reading as well.

I'm wondering if my little paper discs are keeping in too much water. I used them on my "test" grow because the seedlings seemed to dry out really quickly under my 400w MH & they worked well.

At this stage of growth, is it normal for a watering to last 6-7 days with my soil mix? I would think I might need to water more often than most, but maybe these discs are not letting enough moisture evaporate?

What's everyones opinion?

looking good, they dont need nutes yet, that drooping can be from either over or under watering, or heat stress but im sure u got your temps in ok range.

yes, when they near the end they will start to finish faster, id give them 1 last feeding, & try harvesting at dif times, & youll get dif types of high from 1 plant, or harvest bud by bud as they mature.

that does seem a little long between waterings.
