Anyone use or here of using a Retisun 10.0 UVB producing bulb to increase tricome production? When is a plant that was started using feminized seeds MOST likely to go hermi. when stressed,#1 A mother plant in Veg. stage giving clones as it gets older or#2 Any clone late in its flowering cycle or#3????Why is it undesirable when doing hydro indoors to bring soil into the room(spider mites or what)?

yes u can, but keep it in the dark until your new light cycle is set. i dont know how safe it is, ive changed my times a few times w/ no probs, i think just doing it once & as eairly on in the plants life as possible youll be fine. it would take more than a light cycle change to make it reveg.

yes, i use a 26w cfl 10.0 uvb bulb, for flowering, & i did notice a difference. stress will cause any plant to hermi, & taking clones is putting your plants under stress. u dont want to take clones from a flowering plant. & never heard that its notr good to bring soil into a hydro grow room. look at my other post here http://forum.grasscity.com/general-i...?highlight=uvb & http://forum.grasscity.com/general-i...?highlight=uvb

the branch you take cuttings from should have @ least 2-3 nodes on it. so id say when its about 12" tall or bout 3-4wks

I'm planing to grow 2 seeds skunk #1 for start...in a wardrobe. The wardrobe is one meter wide and 2 long.First as long as they grow I put these 2 seeds in a small boxs . But i dunno what light to use and how watts to be......when i move them into the wardrobe

watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPcpt3Be28o , for me i used mine the entire flowering cycle @ 12/12, but the vid says u can use it the whole grow, but at flowering u have to play w/ the hrs of it being on to suit the plant best, but i used mine for 12hrs & noticed a difference between this crop & last

well the rule is 100w of light or 5000 lumens per plant. for vegging you need cool white (6500k) cfl's, or a metal halide, for flowering u need warm white (2700k) cfl's or high pressure sodium. if your only going to grow a few at a time id use cfl's, but if you plan on growing bigger in the future id go w/ a HID light. for cfl's id use 3 42w (8400 lumens) & 2 27w (3700 lumens) for each plant, so get 6 42w 2700k cfl's & 4 27w 6500k cfl's. so put 3 42w 2700k & 2 27w 6500k on each plant. www.1000bulbs.com for an hid id get a 250w hps (33,000 lumens), w/ a conversion bulb so u can veg & flower w/ same system http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct...roductID=48631

A. how many of the filters/ozone cleansers will i need for an sog setup with about 12 plants?

B. ive been lookin at a few seed banks, but i mean some of them look a little to good be true and im sorta skeptical now.

and i sucssesfully grow it....will it actually look the way it does in the pic and be as potent as the site sais it is?

I've recently started watering in a new way. Instead of carrying bottles of water, I've filled up a bucket of water, put some nutes in it, adjusted PH and it sits near the grow closet. Although it has lid, I think the water are starting to be contaminated as it just sits there for 2 weeks before I need to refill. Is this bad? what should I do?

get an air stone and a cheap air pump and add a couple drops of dishsoap to your solution, this will help alot.
