u need to wait more, it took mine 48hr to show tap root, & another 12hrs for the tap root to get long enough to plant, then it took another 12hrs to sprout. it can take longer than that, sometimes up to a wk. look at my grow journal by clicking my sig.

1. 5gal @ 24" i think is the biggest bucket, or buy a large trash can. 2. well id say your ok, but the rule of thumb is 1gal pot per 1ft of plant heigth, ex: 1ft plant = 1gal pot (8"). 3. water when the top 2" of soil is dry, & add 3% hydrogen peroxcide @ a rate of 1-2 caps per gallon of water, add extra o2 to roots. 4. fox farm organic, or fox farm ocean forest, id say go w/ ocean forest. 5. you will down the line, but not at 1st, b/c it contains nutrients already, read the bags. 6. not sure i call them socket y-adapters or twin/dual socket adaptors . 7. im sure its not good for them, just like us.

K this question is for anyone but SUSPECT if ur there this might be up ur alley. Real quick I got an MH ballast MAD cheap!!!! jsut the ballast but its already enclosed with a few wires sticking out. I could post the pics here but I gave the situation its own thread here http://forum.grasscity.com/grow-room...ians-help.html let me know if anyone can help me out I just have to wire up an MH ballast.

PS just saw ur info bout the HPS/T5/T12 situation. THANKS MAN I cant find a way to get the T5 and the HPS up and running together yet but Im trying to figure it out. AND my room is getting up to 92 with the HPS on so I gotta figure out some better ventilation. thnx again man. l8

on the hps/t5/t12 thing, hang the hps above the plants & hang the t5 & t12 virtical along the sides of the plants.

alllllright guys, finally got 3 of my seedlings to break through and they had a good size looking sprout, so i put those 3 in some solo cups just about 3-5 cm below the surface with the top pointing down as much as i could. i have 2 fluro's on them right now about 3-4" away from them and the temp in my grow room is 76-82F with 62-74% humidity. whats a good cheap reflective surface i could use. BTW i am using a walk-in closet about 8x4ft. thanks a lot guys, you all have already helped a lot, and i am well on my way to growing some dank buds hopefully!!

are the seeds just germinated or sprouted, if they are just germinated, u put them to deep in dirt, a 1/4" deep is fine, & u dont need light on them until they break the surface, if they are germed not sprouted, id be very very very careful if u plan on replanting them, if u dont, they should still sprout, it will just take longer. cheap reflective material, flat white paint, mylar, or foil (dull side out), read my other post about this http://forum.grasscity.com/general-i...ghlight=lights

OK,Three questions,#1,Is there any benifit in allowing plants to pre-flower on there own then going to a 12/12? Seems most growers go into the 12/12 based on the size of plants they desire. #2,Whats the standard for seed production,from a mature male or a pollonated female? And #3,Is the reason i dont here anyone making honey oil out of pulled males and accumulated clippings because they need to be mature to produce useable THC?

doing a grow in an attic that is 25' by 25' and about 30' deep. Do I absolutley have to have an exhaust if All I do is hang the lights and not have a box? would just a regular fan work to blow on the leaves? also Am I going to have to have a fan to cool down the light.(400 watt MH) thx-

of course you need to exhaust, I also have an attic grow with 6 1ooo HPS burning, with 5ooo cfm exhaust, & 5oo cfm cold air intake from C/A with an average temp of 82 degrees without Co2 supplementation, so thats STILL a little high.

I see a lot of reflectors being sold that don't have holes for air-cooling.

1: no, its all a personal prefrence when to switch to 12/12. 2: not sure what u mean, but it takes a mature male to pollenate a flowering female to get seeds, or a hermi plant to get femenized seeds, the seeds are produced by the females. 3: yes u need usable thc to make honey oil, but males dont have much thc in them, & i dont know why u dont hear more people making it.

its not nessarry, but it helps w/ bulb life, & heat issues., but id have some kinda fan blowing on the light.
