As I've mentioned before, I've got a plant of about a month and a half, and it's had prior slow growth. Now, I am seeing two green "hairs" at every node. The lighting has been on 18/6.

Sorry, I dont have pics atm. Does anyone know what they are? Its way to early for sexing.

Hairs or spikes? Stipules (spikes) will always appear first,then preflowers in the form of lil balls OR lil pods which will boast the fine white hairs meaning female.Males typically will pre-sex sooner than females,but be careful not to sex the plant incorrectly.Some female plants look just like males but soon show hairs.Your growth time means its in the pre-flower phase and if this node development is the first thing you have seen its the stipules,after that and you will see pre-flowers.As the pic. JCJ will clearly show.

I'm seeing VERY tiny little leafs develop at those nodes now. I'm thinking it's just stipules after looking at those pics. I'm just hoping its not male pre-flowers, but expecting them if that is the case.

from my experence the male pre-flowers have almost always shown up in the middle or top 1st, & develope faster than female preflowers

oci, did u get any good dank, & did u hear that starting tomarrow u can buy mj in vending machines in a part of cali. i got some new "unknown" dank yesterday, looks almost the same as my kush but not as colorful, but packed w/ lots of huge trichs

picked up a oz of this unknown dank, its packed w/ trichromes, especally the inside. it has some shades of purple, lots of red & orange hairs, smells like fruit - strawberry, pineapple, & blueberries, strawberry the strongest. its about 2x better than my 6 month cure of Kush http://forum.grasscity.com/seasoned-...ml#post2185641, smoked a bowl out of my double bubbler & woke up still buzzed. any guesses on what it may be?

nice!!!! i hope that in the future i will be able to grow and dry like that. as for now, im almost at the harvest date but i wanna be clear before i go through with it. does anyone know the easiest setup for the drying process. i have several closets i can use but i cant control humidity since i dont have a dehumidifier and i cant control air circulation b/c it needs to remain dark in there and the doors will be closed so the best i could do is stick a fan in there? i heard it needs 45-55% humidity, 65-75F, well ventilated...the door to the closet has a slit on the bottom, it does not come into contact with the carpet so it probably leaks a small amount of light but the plants will be up top and the light probably would not reach that high. i assume that that would provide some air circulation. HELP?

your fine, just hang them upside down in a cool - room temp dark place, w/ a fan (not blowing directly on the buds), for about 7-10 days or until stem snaps not bends. dont worry to much about temp & humidity, as long as the dont get high

thanks! i have another question now. what kind of nutes should i give autoflowering plants. its the third week and my plants already have female preflowers (little white hairs). they are about 5 inches tall. thanks jcj77d.

give them bloom/flowering nutes w/ a n-p-k ratio of something like 5-20-10. u want the 1st# low, 2nd# the highest, & 3rd close to the 2nd. mollass @ a rate of 1-2tsp per gal will help fatten buds. to much nitrogen will make sparce leafy buds.

im sorry but does mollass mean to mix? or is that something else...im not sure. another question (sorry for all the questions) i read that you can use vinegar to make the soil more acidic, is this true? the pictures i posted asking about the yellowing was due to the ph i think (just tested it and its at 7.2-7.3 so i need to bring it down to 6.5 to 7 right? how much vinegar should i add or should i go out and buy that ph changer solutions i hear about as well. thank you jcj77d!

Would it hurt to throw in a 150w soft white for veg along with the other 6500k daylights? Or just save it until flowering?
