if there is mold in the roots, u should be able to dig the top soil to see mold, or look into the drain holes thats your best bet. if u think u got mold u can add hydrogen peroxcide 3% @ a rate of 10ml per gal of water.

My home made spray cloner is leaking and needs to be redesigned so i made a nice plastic dome and need to add 9 clones from the old one to my 5.0PH soaked over night rookwool.Theres no new roots showing after 5 days but the clones are growing and very healthy,should i recut and gel before the wool? I put one 1" hole in the top for FF and to keep the RH up,any other info for success would be great.BTW hows that hut coming along bro?

When you top or fim a plant, does that mean it stays that height for the rest of its life?

give them more time b4 u cut & re-dip, but i think i would b4 i put them in the wool, id just look real close for any root developement (mag glass), not much advice other than that, i havent had much success w/ cloning, though ive only tryed 4-5 times. almost done, got the exaust fan up, just got to assemble the 400w hps & hang it, & wrap my buckets in foil tape, & minor nick-nacks. got 6 fem master kush & 1 big bud.

u can top or fim a plant at about wk 2, & no it doesnt stay @ that height, it just slows down the vertacly growth, but the lateral branches continue to grow making it bushy, & after about a wk the top will split into if topped (2) if fimmed (up to 12) new growth tops. u can do this to the lateral branches as well.

Is there any reason pre-PH my tap h2o which sets out 24-48 hrs,meaning if it sits longer and the PH goes from 8.0 to 8.5 is there any benefit to bringing it down to a lower PH prior to nutes and final PH adj.

I'm sorry if this has been asked but im not gonna look through 154 something pages. Could you grow a plant in like one of those plastic red cups or something similar and just let it grow in there? Would it grow or would it die from the roots not being able to grow more?

Most do start in those types of cups,but since most want a bigger plant they will transplant as the roots grow.But,confining a plant to such a small space and making it flower ASAP(rooted clones are best) have shown quite tremendous results indeed.Make the cup at least 32oz. and cut out 3-4 1/2"up and on the bottom 1/2" wide so water can drain from sides and the bottom.
