u can not tell by the seed, unless its a feminized seed. it depends on the strain when the preflowers show up, ive seen some as earily as 3wks old. u can always clone your plants to determine sex, & sometimes sex doesnt show until u switch to `12/12

hey, sry to ask but i dont kno what u mean by small growing strain, does that mean a speciic kind of seeds? the seeds i already have, but all except one is from regs batch and the other one my friend gave it to me, so i dno what kind it is.... what would you suggest given these seeds? i dont live in NA so it be rlly hard for me to get seeds, if i decide to grow these seeds (lets say it doesnt quite stay low), are hter eany methods i cud use to limit their height growth? thanks.

Thanks a lot for the response!

I dont know why but something keeps making my water more alkaline. when measuring them from time to time I usually find 7-8 and today I even had a 8.5! dont know what causes this. Are you sure adding nutes lowers the PH?

so I'm from Bulgaria peope I've just received my skunk #1 can you tell me (give me some advises) what soil to use....what light to use...this is very important for me.especially what light to use....what lamp....

yes the lowryder 2 & masterlow, dont grow very tall, maybe 18-24". to keep your plants small, u need to either start off w/ 12/12 from seed, or try useing the LST (low stress training), & topping & fimming, & veg for a short period, b/c once u switch to 12/12 plants can double or triple in size.

yes most nutes will lower the ph, & my water ph jumps around, from 7.0-7.4, cant tell u why.

Newbe needs help!!
Hi City,this is my 1st post. Been reading awhile but im a fresh newbe.Two questions,First Can a harvested plant be regenerated and reveged to become a healthy mother plant and give clones for future generations? Also,i have a 10'x10'x7' indoor room that id like to turn into a fun grow room. Would really love hydro and HID for the flower section,money is not a problem.Going to start by testing the pop-corn celing then scraping,painting and replacing carpet with ??? Makin it light proof but adding ventalation ill need help.Actually i need help with it all but i will spend hrs. reading here.BTW all aspects of construction i can do. THANK YOU & HELP!!! Edit:just read post #72 on regeneration/veg./clones

i wouldnt replace the carpet, either covor the floor w/ poly plastic sheets, or leave it concretre. as for ventilation, wheres the room at. & what strain are u going to grow.

Would like to start with using about half the space,building dif. areas for the 12/12 &18/6 with great vent. easy acsess,thinkin the 7' hight would limit me to 600W. HPS dig. for flower R. But maybe 2-3 lights when i get to flowering,could i use CF. for veg./clones/mothers?After it gets going i could use the rest of the space,oh i am on concrete-house is all one level.STRAIN!!!.....HELP!!!! Every time i look at a s. bank it says will not ship to USA....WTF. n i dont want to try just any seed.suggestions.......BTW..im off today and the response was NICEEEEEEE,ill try to look sooner,You guys r great!!!

Was thinking changing the carpet to lanolium would help with mold/fungi issues and with a spill it could cleaned easy,but whatever is best.
