Be careful when u handle the weed once in fridge/freezer, b/c the trichromes will be hard & can very easily break off makeing it less potent. one of the ways good wwed goes bad is from bad handeling, smashing, etc. Light, heat, & time will degrade the THC
Okk, thanks!
Another question, I want to plant some weed in a nearby forest (there's a creek by the forest too). I plan on planting in mid/late May, and want to harvest in the third week of August THE LATEST, no later than that. What I need is a strain with short harvest time and high endurance... (also high productivity) Should I go with Big Bud or Early Misty?

u can do it that way, or u can dry & cure them w/o any extra stuff, & if it does get to dry, u can add a orange peel placeing something between the weed & peel. slices of potatos & lettus works too to rehydrate the weed, just check it daily for mold, replaceing the peel, potato or lettus as needed

ive grown big bud b4, & i can say its a very hardy plant, & easy to grow, w/ big yeilds & average flowering time. as far as early misty dont know much except it finishes faster.

its 1 of the 3 growth stages so to speak. 1 = sprout/seedling, 2 = vegitative, 3 = flowering. 1 & 2 are pretty much the same, a vegitating plant is a plant thats under @ least 16hrs of light, but usually is on a 18/6 or 24/0 light cycle, 18hrs on 6hrs off, & 24hrs on, & to flower/bud a plant the light cycle needs to be 12/12, 12hrs on 12hrs off till harvest time. its a personal pref on how long u want to veg your plants. some dont veg theirs, they start from seed on 12/12.

Another question... is it even possible to plant in April/May and harvest at the end of August? We're talking about outdoor here... If so, which takes shorter - Early Misty or First Girl?

if u planted in april/may, yes u could have a harvest by aug if the day light hours drop to -14hr (12hrs) where u live starting by early/late june, b/c early misty takes 6-8wks to flower, & first girl takes 7-8wks to flower, & a flowering plant need to be on a 12/12 light cycle. read up on those strains to see when they recommend u plant, but both say to harvest in aug/sep

Thanks JC...

Say, is it normal for seedlings to be top heavy and tip from side to side when moved or misted. Could it be that it needs a little more soil in the pot to help prop it up?

yes & no, u need to get a fan on them to blow them around slightly, this will strengthen the stem. if u feel they are in jeporady of falling over then by all means stake them up. u dont want to put more soil around the stem, it can cause stem rot.
