Hey man, I live in western Washington and need to know when a good time to plant is. Should I plant right after the last frost or wait a little bit? This will be an outdoor grow and I want to try to get as much off of every plant that I can. Thanks for the help man!

safe, ive got a little plant a little more than a week old just sitting in a pot by a window, im pretty sure it wont just grow there on its own. is theere anything i can do to make it more likely it will suvive?

i would say very minor (nothing to worry about), ive vegged w/ 4200k bulbs b4 & i didnt notice a difference vs 6500k, just that 6500k has more blue which some say u get a better chance of females w/ more blue, but who knows.

nothing that some air freshiers cant take care of. i use those automatic "air wick air nuteralizer" set @ every 8mins & i got 4 budding, also i found that regular garlic powder works great, but smells like garlic, i just sprinkle a good amount on a paper plate.

depending on your grow room setup, 1 1000w hps will cover an area of 8' X 8' or 64sq ft which = about 2,300 lumens per square ft, so if your area is bigger than that you want to overlap the lighted area, so id place them where you get a 7' x 7' or 6' x 6' light coverage, so you get 1' - 2' of overlapping light from both lights. the rule is to have about 2,500 lumens of hid per square ft. thats what id do, but ive seen growers hang 1000w lights only ft apart. are u asking as: whats the best way to setup them for light coverage or for safety reasons (if for saftey reasons i wouldnt place them any closer than 24-36")? i seen youve added a sig to your profile, + this question, what u trying to do, make me look dumb or throw me off, or yourself smarter, i never made a claim that i know everything about growin.

my grow room is 19.5'x9' and I have 6x1000 HPS
the farthest Im willing to space em is 4', so I should be fine Eh?
as for safety, not an issue, all new wiring, and new equiptment, so I wanna go all out, if you know what I mean.

u got plenty of light, you got 176 sq ft of grow space, & 384 sq ft of lighting, so your over double the required amount of light, just be careful of light bleaching. & youll have to place them @ least 4' apart, b/c 6 times 4ft = 24ft & u got 19.5'. why dont u start w/ 4 (still @ 256sq ft), then add the others if needed. are you doing a SOG & how many plants will be in this room? no prob bout sig.

check it out yo, @ first I was thinkin about adding a 7th 1000 HPS,
but then I thought, if I spaced out my plants a little, and spread out my bulbs abit as well, I would be able to get higher efficiency
out of my bulbs and a larger yield off of each individual plant.
olmost everything is in check, just a few minor issues left to deal with 1 @ a time though, its easier that way dont ya think?

PS about the ballast wiring info, it doesnt seem to really say how to wire an HPS ballast to make it work with an MH bulb. When it gets to wiring for MH it says if ur ballast has the HPS components just wire it as an HPS, right??? I dont think this will solve my problem. Can u elaborate?? this is what the info u gave me says . . . . .

Metal Halide (MH)
If you want a metal halide light, your task is even easier because now you only have the transformer and capacitor to work with and no ignitor. This is for standard metal halide ballasts. On occasion, you run into a MH ballast which has an ignitor. Try not to get this kind if you can. If this is the only option, then follow the instructions for HPS ballasts
