yes, thats true, & purple stems can also be a sign of nute def, or lockout

i am a first timer and i think my plants are well a little odd... they are at 4 days but they are not short at all they are about 5-7 inches with the first couple sets of leaves is this normal?

What brand of neem oil is the best?
When should I feed my plants (I have 3 that are starting on their 4th true set of leaves)? I am going strictly organic and would like to know what would be best to feed them?

You would need to possibly add a tiny hole in the top of the res. enough so excess pressure could be under your control so the h2o output is what you want.

This lockout we here so much about is a good example of why its not a bad idea to slightly vary the PH in h2o from time to time from one end of the useable spectrum to the other.Some micro nutes are locked out at each end so staying at the other end each time you water could lock out some much needed micro nutes without even knowing it.

I hear there are weak neem oils to avoid so this is a good question,i thought a 70+% was good but JCJ will explain it better than i ever could.But great question!

When marking new baby plants is the date the date the seed was first soaked?So even though it just broke throught the soils surface its date is not that day but the day it started its germination right?Which is dif. from the flowering time,which is how seed companies typically state its flowering time,like 6-8 weeks or 8 weeks,is all this correct?

I'm about a month and two weeks into flowering,And I'm just now remembering reading about watering less then when it was in veg,but I can't find where I read that at.Any advice about how often I should water?I water every time the soil is dried out.So I basically I water every 2-3 days.I also noticed a few roots growing out of the drainage holes,seems normal but the ones in at least two of the drainage holes have mold on them,I've tried searching and read it was root burn?Is that true?any solutions?I was going to re-pot the plant this Monday when it drys out.So the roots have more room to grow in and to basically Bury the problem.

no they are that way, b/c they are stretching for light, for flouros & cfl lights they need to be 2-4" away from plants.
