So do you guys think I should leave the fan off while I am gone just to be sure not to prematurely dry out the soil?
water therm real good & add hydrogen peroxcide 3% top the water @3 a rate of 1-2 caps per gal (adds extra o2 to roots), turn your fan where its not blowing directly on them, & take some coke bottles (20oz for each plant) & fish tank air hose, drill a hole in the caps of the bottles to fit the hose, then put the hose in the hole & seal it w/ sealeant, hang the bottles up above the plants somehow & then measure the length of hose u need to reach your plants, plug the other end of hose, then poke pin holes in this end of it, to make it slow drip, do this for each plant & u got a DIY drip system, heres mine i made.

dont worry about the square bottle, its for something else

get a small space heater or green reg light bulbs (plant cant use green light) for at night & if your temps are still low w/ lights on put some reg light bulbs in there, they give off heat, its ok for the temp to get to 50-55 & will turn them purple.

Any water that is left exposed to the heat from your grow lights will rapidly evaporate and add to the humidity levels. if u cant get your rh up u can buy a fogger or Get a Humidifier with a shut off mechanism that will shut it down at a specific humidity... 30 - 50 bucks, Add a bucket of water int the room under the light and let it evaporate or buy a cheap humidifier at walmart for under $30 then you can regulate it. Use a sulphur burner to control any mold that may come up.The veg room is 80sq ft and the flower is 900 and the flower room will get a dehumidifier and this veg room is getting a humidifier on fri.http://books.google.com/books?id=l2Y...pdGP5bk6kwNTRs

(the solution is atop my harmon/kardon for warmth).Usually i just seal seeds in a container used for CSF in a warm dark place, but after you said the H2O should be oxygenated i did my usual thing which inc. a good dose of overkill(and i love every min. of it)Is there anything i missed bro? Hows your surgery been?
PH for soaking has been 6.0. and after planted it gets 6.6-6.8 with soil moms but when i go flower from clones in BB i will change to 5.8.
This all took all of 5 min as i had everything right here and its the stuff i like to do,i make my own fuel from old used deep friers for fun,and it only costs me 56 cents a gal.Better for the engine, environment and i dont feel like im helping make the war machine function. And all the money i save can go to better things if ya know what i mean.

I also was thinkin about a way to water when gone,by using an small air pump on a timer goin into a water bottle like this one, when the air comes on and added pressure to the bottle it pushes out the needed water.Just an added thought(my thoughts seem to be more work intensive than most though,so carry on.

Stems being purple are not neccesaraly a sign of the cold but many phenos do this naturally, isnt this right JCJ? The leaves and buds are a dif, story.

the rule of thumb is 50-100w per plant or a minimum of 3500-5000 lumens, so get more light, water when top 2" of soil is dry, & start feeding w/ 1/4 strength nutes, & feed 1 time a wk - 2wk & work to full strength. can u post a pic.
