the tub & stuff looks ok, but the light is not enough, the rule of thumb is 50-100w per plant or a minimum of 3500-5000 lumens per plant, that 1 is 8000 total.

ive been told to soak RW for 24hrs in 5.0 ph water, then squeeze the water out & rehydrate w/ ph corrected water, plant seed & put in dome & keep the cubes moist, not soaking, keep in warm dark place. it doesnt make much difference if they are sitting on drainage or not, as long as they dont sit in too much standing water. i got a vid that shows the RW soaking process, though they use them for clones.

On ~24 hrs of seed soak and under a 10x loop seems the seeds are showin some signs of changing and i really hope it wont be long.Starting to think i should of scuffed um JCJ,every day is like christmas unless a baby is suffering.I have put alot of time and money into the success of this program and am starting to think about being a med grower for one or more ppl who NEED high quality meds.Any info ppl???????????

Hey I am going on vacation on the 21st for a week and was wondering if I watered them right before I left if that would last my plants a week. They are still in the seedling stage and the growing medium retains moisture fairly well. The thing is I have a fan blowing at them 24.7 so that they have stronger stalks but this also dries out the topsoil quicker. So do you guys think I should leave the fan off while I am gone just to be sure not to prematurely dry out the soil?

Being as I live in the Northwest, the temperatures are beginning to get pretty chilly at night. I noticed when I had my plants on a timer for veg (18-6) they were getting too cold. The stems began to show purple colors, and the edges of the leaves did the same thing. I was wondering what the most effective way to heat the plants during flowering. During the day, when I plan to have my lights off, the temps often drop to 30-40 degrees F. The room where they are located is a small, back closet that has direct air circulation to the outside.

sounds good, your nutes sound fine to, just keep an eye on any signs of nute burn or def, i had to back my nutes a little today, b/c i noticed 2 small tiny nute burns on tips of 2 leaves. yea thery sound fine too, as long as they arnt stretchng or getting heat stress your a o.k. add bulbs as they get wider & the light is not as strong on the outer leaves, just play it by eye. your rh prob is weird, b/c this has happened to me too, but when i placed cups of water around it went up, b/c when the water evaps your rh should go up, but i place my cups of water under my lights to speed the evap process & have a fan blowing acress the cups too, do u have a way to heat your 5gal bucket of water? also increasing air flow will lower your rh. if u cant get your rh up now w/ just the t5, when u go to the hid it will really drop. Any water that is left exposed to the heat from your grow lights will rapidly evaporate and add to the humidity levels. if u cant get your rh up u can buy a fogger or Get a Humidifier with a shut off mechanism that will shut it down at a specific humidity... 30 - 50 bucks, Add a bucket of water int the room under the light and let it evaporate or buy a cheap humidifier at walmart for under $30 then you can regulate it.
