On a good note,my two WW are lookin great,one is still only 1.25" and the other is 2".They have about 12 leaves now and are getting almost 1/2 nutes,sensizym,superthrive and 6.6PH h2o about every day to every two days.Fan is moving plants around 24/7 and light is also 24/7.65F at night and 75F day,im a bit worried about the RH being below 40.Should i get a humidifier?The pots are about 5" and one quart,these will be come mothers and i have 4 gal. pots awaiting for their first and hopefully last transplant for permanant resedentcy under the monster t5s(4 moms will find it their home).What else should i do,order beens again and germ the other half now or wait for the 13 to just rot?

Seems the inside of the seeds are now a soft white mush,WTF,What could of caused this,is there a better thread for this sort of problem?Now im soaking 2 seeds and will germ again then plant one into the vergin soil (ones my WW are doin great) and the other in the same soil with the 25% perlite and 1TBS per Gal. dollimite lime as a test to see what happens,anyone have any ideas?

u can raise your RH by putting cups or containers of water around the grow room. i wouldnt buy more yet, try germin a few more

try seed scuffing, to help them germ faster & eaiser, remember to keep them moist not soaking wet (except for 1st 24-48hrs), if your soaking them u need to aireiat the water. soak them for 24hrs, then use the paper towle method (try letting tap root get a little bigger), then to soil.

Hey jcj i think i am going to go with the lumatek 250 digital in the new year once i move, and got a few questions for you. I am planning on a circular dresser scrog like these two.

400w Circular Scrog
The ballast is switchable betweed mh and hps as you probaly already know.
Is a mh bulb during veg make that much of a difference in grow rate compared to hps all the way through?

I want to go with a rubbermaid DWC. What volume container would support 1 fully grown plants for lets say 5 days with no supervision and no topping up of the res?

I am either going to go with individual buckets or a single large plastic tote or a combo of a few small ones to best match the layout of the dresser i find.

What should the cfm of a fan be per cubic feet of the box? Like how often should the air be exchanging?

OK,So plan "B" I have these mini biopsy holders,like an inch square and a quarter inch thick,plastic hinged snap tite containers like a plastic frame with very fine screen covering nearly all of the unit.You say airate the H2O solution, so we will airate well.These lil trays were labeled and seeds were installed closing the unit with a snap.A quart sized solution of tap H2O was PHed in the normal fashion and a drop of Superthrive was added.A 5" container approx 5" tall was used,with a 4" air stone connected to a reliable airation pump in the bottom and filled with the solution.All seed units were connected to SS surgical clamps and submerged into the highly oxygenated solution for aprox. the next 24-48 hrs. (the solution is atop my harmon/kardon for warmth).Usually i just seal seeds in a container used for CSF in a warm dark place, but after you said the H2O should be oxygenated i did my usual thing which inc. a good dose of overkill(and i love every min. of it)Is there anything i missed bro? Hows your surgery been?
PH for soaking has been 6.0. and after planted it gets 6.6-6.8 with soil moms but when i go flower from clones in BB i will change to 5.8.

3 pairs of seeds in 6.0ph h2o w/an airstone 12hrs now,they usually crack @24-36 though.No scuffing this time.If i use rockwool what PH and for how long do i soak?Then in or out of a dome and do they sit on a draining surface or in a wet plate? School me bro,my WW look just like your SS at this time,But i want to get the others going also.

How much water did you give your seeds?

Did you place them in a glass of water or moist paper towel for 12 hrs. prior to planting them?

What lights are you using and how close are they?

you have a fungus problem. cant remember what its called
affected seedlings, as you already know, are dead
Keep container and environment clean, only way to prevent it.

well a mh has less lumens than an hps, youll prob have faster growth w/ hps, but i perfer to stick w/ how plants are suppose to use light, mh for veg, & hps for budding. i think youll have a better lookin & healthier plant useing the correct light for the dif stages of growth, if u where useing fem seed id say use hps all the way through, if reg seed go the right way (blue light (mh) is supposed to give u a better female ratio, maybe a myth). to leave a plant for 5 days w/ no supervision really doesnt matter what container size, as long as its big enough to supply the plant w/ water/nutes for 5 days, your best bet is a bubble bucket @ least 2gal. the rule of thumb is 1gal container per 1ft of plant, ex: 3ft tall plant = 3gal pot, most bubble buckets are 5gals. the cfm of the fan should match or double the cft of space & id leave it on while the lights are on, or all the time, & off when useing co2

sounds good, u didnt have to go through all that, i just shake the baggie or blow bubbles in the water once or twice a day. surgery went good, got 1 more (lythotripsy). thanks for askin.
