LST gone wrong!!!

Hey guys,

after my fiasco of burning all my seedlings but one i have been nursing the sole survivor and he/she was doing great!

I've fimmed twice now and just today i decided to LST to get some light to the less developed branches. Unforunately, while tying the one side branch down it snapped at it's node!

I know this will obviously slow the plant's growth, but does anyone know by how much my plant will suffer from this incident, and if it will survive?

Any help would be great. thanks.

How big is the plant? Last year I had a plant that I topped and one of the branched after getting to be like a foot and a half broke off. I stuck it in some soil and it took off and budded nicely. The rest of the plant was fine as well.

If the branch snapped completely off the plant, then treat it as a clone (as prettybuds suggested). No harm will come to the main plant, and you may even see increased growth from the remaining foliage.

If it's still attached, then tie, tape or prop it back in position. You shouldn't see a huge difference in growth between that, and the other branches.

I think they love a bit of a challenge.

thank you

haha thanks guys you've eased my worries quite a bit.

the plant is about 2 feet tall now, and the branch was about a foot long, but i dont have the room to clone it due to security reasons, long story.

I tried tying it off but it was almost completly detached and after 10 minutes i just ate the damn thing out of spite!

Oh well thanks for settling me down guys, happy growing.

That's a shame that you can stick it some dirt, a branch that size would've given you a nice bud.

Nein!

Tasted like complete balls!

Shortly after chewing some I remembered the carbaryl I dusted the plants with a few days before hand. Thankfully I rinsed the leaves before consumption, but I doubt the spicyness in my mouth was healthy, hahaha.

Oh well, 12 good tops working their way to the sky now. 16 would have been nice, but what can you do when you live in a shoe.

Thanks again guys.
