A few problems with my Afghani
Hey all. This is my first grow, and I am running into a few problems.
My biggest problem is that all of my older growth leaves keep turning light green. The tips of some of the leaves are also dieing and turning brown/crispy. But most disconcerting to me is that many of the leaves are twisting so that they resemble a propeller.
I tested my runoff ph last week and it was at about 6.0. I tried raising it up with balanced water, but it wouldn't come up at all. So I tried flushing with tap wter that has a ph about 7.5. After about 6 gallons of that, the ph was still sitting at about 6.1-6.2.
I am using MG orgnic soil, BTW. I have been adding water soluble mg ferts every other watering, because I have now flushed the shit out of the plants and I can't see that there are ny nutes remaining. My pot size is about 2 gallons.
The plant is about 40 days old, a little over a foot in growth. The temperature is on the high side... about 85-90 when the lights are on. My exhaust sytem is at its max though.
Also, in my 2 gallon pot, roots are already coming out the bottom, and I have at least 4 more weeks that I am going to veg. Is it possible that it can get root bound in such a large pot?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
