Replant help!

Well I transfered one of my plants that is about a week old that was in a red plastic cup into a bigger pot and when i was taking out the root ball, a little piece of the root at the very bottom ripped off and is that bad? I tried to find the little piece but it was too small so I just didn't bother with it. Is my plant still going to live?
