Growing And Germinating outdoors?

if im growing outdoors is it ok to germ outdoors? And if i germinate indoors when do i know its time to take my babies outside?

i chose to germ inside, i think outside takes longer. i plan to move it out right before vegetation begins.

do you mean start your seeds indoors and grow them for a week before putting them outside?

germing your seeds means putting them in a air tight container with a wet paper towel in a warm dark place till they show a little white root coming out then you plant them

you cant germ outside because you have to keep it in a dark place

Germing is a plant coming out of the seed and starting its life (aka germinating) Germing outside is fine; the plant may be in danger of of external problems. If something steps on it, the plant may die. Safer for plant inside; safer for you outside.

its my first grow and im not very organized. I have four seeds from a bag of real dank headies and i noticed this morning that the tap roots were popping out of all of them. I didn't expect it to happen so fast seeing how i only started them like a day before. I was planning on putting them in plastic party cups and let them finish germing outside but now i think ill set up a little grow area tonight.

Oh yeah can someone tell me when i should transfer them outside. Is there a certain node that it has to reach before transferring? Because i know that a plant can be shocked and die when transfered.

ahhh ok I get what your saying

I would keep them indoors for a week then plant them outside use jiffy pots if you dont want to risk damaging them during transplant
