Sudden Brown spots and Yellowing - Help

Over the last 24 hours or so my 4 week old White Widow has developed some yellowing and brown spots???????

098.JPG 099.JPG

I have no idea what has happened - nothing has changed in there. I gave her the tineyest amount of feed about 5 days ago, but diluted it to 5 times weeker than was sujjested, and gave about 10% of that solution, so must have been pretty week.....

Still on 18/6 light, PH is between 6.5 an 7. Watering lightly most days due to the fan drying out the soil. Heavier wattering every 2 - 3 days as needed.

Anyone have any clues as to what might be going on?

I was planning to plant out into its big pot today, would that help? Problem is the organic compost I have has gone mouldy - all covered in fur! Don't know if it is safe to use or not????

Agh - nothing is ever simple, is it?? lol

Cheers

Are you using an accurate method to test your pH?

if the leaves are turning yellow and curving downward you might be overwatering. i'm not a very experienced grower but I have heard about this many times. if the leaves start to curve upwards, thats nute burn.
thats all I know

Do you own a soil pH meter (just a probe you stick in the soil?) Those things are terrible, that's why I ask. They are very innacurate.

I just had the same problem.
Turned out to be N deficiency.

I gave my plants nute burn once, so I was going very light on the ferts, and ended up creating a N deficiency. Just upped my ferts, and the problem went away. (the really yellow leaves couldn't be cured, but the yellowish green ones perked up)

Yeah - that's what I baught - figured it was better than the chemical kit I had where you had to compare the colour it turns.....

I'm going to transplant it to it's growing pot today - I'll retest everything as I go.

Thanks for the help all - I'll put some pics up if she picks up!
