Is anybody familiar with the GE soft white 45w/150w (model# FLE45HLX/2/SW/CD) spiral cfl for $10.99 at Meijer? I just picked up a few and they don't list the kelvins on it anywhere (package or bulb) and I was unable to find a search on it. I had the GE 42w ones before from Wal-Mart and I know they were 2700k, but the reason I'm suspicious of these is that they look more orangish-whitish color than the 42w that were more redish-pinkish from what I remember. I want to make sure these are the right kelvins so I don't get into a grow and find out the lights were wrong to begin with. Thanks for any help.

well soft white implies that's it is in that spectrum if it were anything else it would be called cool,or daylight.

Thanks, you think its alright to flower with? For some reason the color looks really white-orange like a regular incandescent and I read somewhere that some of the soft white cfls are in the 3000k range and it won't flower.

Nevermind, I just found it online and it is 2700k. What threw me off was that they called it "mini" because its huge compared to the 13w "mini's" but after seeing the pic its exactly the same. thanks for help heres the link if your interested. http://www.acehardwaresuperstore.com...d-p-23412.html
