I scooped up the 70w HPS light from Home Depot recently.. And I've obviously come to the conclusion that this won't be nearly enough to grow 6 plans like I would hope to.

After getting my 400w HPS setup to run for veg/flowering, can I use this 70w HPS to simply grow up my seedlings after germination?

My big question is while using this 70w HPS bulb... How far should it be from the plants??

I'm not sure if the 70w hps will work, but put your hand under it, move your hand until it's comfortable (not hot), than set your plants at the same distance.

y dnt u by a 175 watt hps at home depot there like 80 dollars not hard to rig up

So 70w is so small that I'm not risking BURNING the plants by having it less than 6 inches away?
