My First Grow Room!

Hello I'm interested in building a grow room and i would like some input from everyone!! plz post all your info and links to shops to buy supplies from.. Ok my grow room is going to be inside my closet and its a big walk-in closet. I want to turn this into a grow room and start my first ever grow..Im going to be cleaning the closet out and bleaching and laying down plastic on the floor painting the walls white and going to put some kind of reflecor inside the flowering room.. i want to know how i should set it up and wut supplies i will need for my first grow plz any help will be appriciated and if you live anywhere near MN i will share my frist harvest with you and throw a trimming party if everything goes out as planned.. i got a bag of seeds from my dealer and i plan on growing them as soon as i get my grow room built.. i want to know how i should set up every stage of the rooma nd i would love pics of other grow rooms to help me aquire the perfect grow room.. i need to buy the lighting and fans and the ph tested.. thinking about buying an automatic one if they are worth the mony.. i want to be growing alot and do plan on building a green house in the summer to grow more plants..

Read the stickies on this forum, (grandpas growguide ect) and youll get alot of information there.

Youll need to concider these things after you consider the consequences

How much room do you have in square feet?
How many do you want to grow?
What light do I need to fit this many in this space?
Small and large containers
What type of soil is best?
Temperature/Humidity reader
and thats just the beginning, your on the right track with bleach and plastic. Read up and if you have more questions, then ask.

true noon is here to serve, but this site is made for helping people!!!!!you can find most every thing at a local hydro store or Home Depot if thier is no hydro store.
Bad idea to let anyone know about you growing and were you are growing. a freind of mine got robbed by one of his best freinds. the guy that did the robbery is going to be in a lot of pain if he doesnt end up dead when he gets found. so dont tell anyone that you are growing -k-. good luck on your room man.

Ok Thanks and i know not too let anyone know where im growing... but i jsut wanted a list of supplies that i should get for my room money isnt an issue i just want to start growing asap i want to be smoknig my own bud instead of buying it and getting ripped off..

ok how many plants do plants do you plan on growin? are you going to grow in soil or hydro?all MJ needs to grow is ligh, air, and water very simple.i would get a 400w hps with ballist and some organic soil (fox farm is by far the best).

to be honest mate if its ur first grow i wouldnt spend too much money on a high quality system. a nice little list would be;
envirolite red and blue spectrum flourescents,
canna vega and flora nutrients,
soil and perlite pot mix (first put gravel or polystyrene in the bottom of the pot to help drainage.),
not much else to be honest. the fan is propably the most expensive thing you need. especially when you are growing in a cupboard. but depending on the size an ordinary fan will do for your first grow. but good luck anyway.

For lights, www.htgsupply.com/, they get a lot of good remarks on this forum, for price and reliability, stealth packaging. They also carry a lot of nutes, fans, mylar, etc. For Flower get Black 5 gallon buckets. U.S. Plastics (they have a web site, but don't have a link) carries them if you can't find any locally. If money isn't an issue, buy an inline fan for exhaust and get a carbon filter to attach to it.

Everything you will need can be found in the growroom setup forum, just spend sometime reading and taking notes, if your serious.

And MOST importantly, like the other posters mentioned, DO NOT TELL ANYONE about your grow (best friends or girlfriends), thats how most people get caught and go to prison, or worse killed. There was a guy killed in his house in Denver a week or two ago for his grow.
