Using ironite to prevent burning?

I recently bought some ironite just in case my indoor babies don't burn up because for the time being i'm using a black foot looker (4 1/4 X 2 1/2 X 3) and i'm limited of lights, two 12 watt fluro lights placed at the top, using tin toil and white paper sheets is all I can do. I'm using more tin foil so my crappy 12 watt lights can reflect all over my plants. I was just wondering if ironite is safe to use, it's not toxic, but I don't want to be smoking and then end up with too much iron in my blood stream. is this a good idea?
