humidity question?
OK I have done my reading, or not done rather ben trying to do my homework in threads books movies etc... in prep 4 my first grow which is currently in week three. The only problems or question at the present is regarding humidity and ventilation. My present location is is very dry just outside death valley. Obviously the rh here is round 15%-20%. Every where where i read of the subject is different likely due to the lack of experience in these growing conditions. Now all advise i have read claims that anything over 85% is bad, fine i will never have that problem, but whaen it gets to whatys to low they all vary in advise from 40%-60% 40%-85% to 0%-80%. now the advise claiming that you cant get to low made no refrance to plant transperation as the other two have which leads me to the majority rules right. So by sealing my closet door like a fridge hand watering the plants on the shelf that allows the water pass through and collect into a tray acts if i allow enough run off acts as a humidifier lasting 3-4 days, and keeps it up to 52%or so ok so every thing should be ok sense technically 50% falls into all advise catigories from above figure why question anyone, but just the other day i noticed on a few pieces of perlite in one of the pots seems to have a slight greenish tint. Other than that it is one of my better plants. is this something that i should be conserned with like a type of desiese or something and if so is it contageous or is it due to my improper ventilation or a classic case of over watering. heres some info that may help. mix is 1 part perlite 1 part verm and .5 part peat i also have ben injecting co2 2 times during the light cycle which is 18hrs 8 seedlings no nutes as of yet. plants actually are starting to grow quite fragrant lilely due 2 the lack of ventilation. theyr only bagseed but from a pound of afghani kush which was itself kill. i wish i had a cam but sorry. also sorry 4 all the rambling and yet all this info i guarantee i left out some usefull info oh yeah ph of plant with green is 6.35 and the water when feeding gets adjusted to 6.2
