Will it work? Advice needed. First time grower.

I'm going for my first grow and I need some advice. I've been reading through the stickies and other topics for any basic information I seek. Now I'm in need of information and opinions from someone of experience that may help me with my specific setup/situation.


Okay, so here's the deal:

Basic info

Dimensions For Growing Space- Max 3-<st1:metricconverter productid="4 feet" w:st="on">4 feet</st1:metricconverter> deep, Max 2-2 1/2 feet wide, and Max <st1:metricconverter productid="5 feet" w:st="on">5 feet</st1:metricconverter> long (Ex. [5x2x3.5 Feet])
Amount of Plants being Grown- 2-4
Location- Underground in shaded area against the side wall of the house.
Region- Desert (Phoenix, AZ)
Growing Method- LST
Seeds- Christmas Bud (Bag Seeds)
Ventilation- Small square fans connected to plastic irrigation tubes (One on each side, one will suck in air while the other one pushes out air. Fans must be quiet, possibly computer fans.)

Situation

I'm <st1:metricconverter productid="18, in" w:st="on">18, in</st1:metricconverter> High School, and live with my parents. My parents smoke weed and they think that I don't. For Christmas, as kind of a joke, I gave them an ounce of Christmas Bud. They stressed about how illegal it was and how they didn't like the fact that I was involved in any type of "Drug Deal" (That still didn't stop them from smoking it, lol). So when I even considered growing I knew whatever setup I made must be completely hidden for it would surely be destroyed if it were ever discovered.

Questions

Is it even possible in my climate region? If so, when?

What types of lighting should I use and at what wattage?

Should I build a wooden frame for my growing area and plant my seeds in pots?
-OR-
Should I just add the soil to the bottom of the hole and plant them there?

What soil would you recommend to me?

Any other information that you think may be of use to me is also much appreciated...


I will take and upload photos of the spot I'm planning to use tomorrow. If anymore information is needed about my planned setup, I will readily give you any information requested.


I'm hoping to learn a lot here at GC<st1></st1>. I'm also hoping to gain experience in growing so I will be able to help others that are just starting off. I'm not here just leech information and leave this site forever. I plan to become an active and helpful member of this community.

First off give yourself a pat on the back for reading around the forum before you started in with the questions. You'd be surprised how many people skip the info packed stickies at the tops of the forums.
Second, is there any chance you can grow inside your house? MJ does grow in a wide variety of climates in this world, but I'm not sure of any that grow in deserts well....haha. Also I'm not sure what kind of critters you have around where you live that could destroy your crops. Indoor would be the way to go if possible. Then you would control the climate for your babies, not mother nature. But, you should know, it is not a good idea to grow in someone elses house without their permission, so you'd have to persuade your rents somehow.....

The right and only answer is no, If your parents are dead set against it then you must respect there wishes, so without their ok, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto. Don't grow in someone else's house. They could lose the house through property seizure if you get busted.
