I know someone in the same situaion, moving to a rented place.

Knowing that in Australia the landlord is required by law to inform you theyre coming weeks in advance I'm sure he'd be fine if he chose to grow, as there's only smell and ducting leading to the ceiling to deal with. The hole can be quickly be transformed in to a harmless ceiling fan, the smell will be gone within weeks if you temporarily remove the box fan and such....itsa your closet if youve got a hole in the side of it then thats your business.

yeah your right americans will never legalize this fine herb cause our goverment is a bunch of bullies, they punk other countries and punk the people living there.Back to the topic I grow in my closet(townhouse) inside a nice sized cab no light leaks watsoever do I really need to worry about ventilting out the house or is out the cab good enough.

nah tried, didn't work. easier to sit on fat ass, lol. out of cab is good enough. odor control is for you and security, not for plants. they will get pretty stinky though. I vent into my room and love the smell. I am able to quickly change things so that I can vent into my attic if I need to. I have a non user living with me so that is a big help with odor control.

I was renting right up until june of 2006 and then i bought this house I am in now. About 13 years ago I had a large grow op in a rented house and the one time a female cop knocked on my door and I was too paranoid to answer it. She came again and again, I finally answered the door and she was doing a background check on the previous owner or tennant because he was applying to be an RCMP! I was soooo worried that she smelled it but nothing ever happened. I never ran into any problems other then the female officer and she wasn't a problem. You can get caught anywhere you grow but never had probems with rentals.
