Ok so i have a few questions
1.) How do i know if I am ready to clone my plant? I have about 6 nodes on it (not alternating) and its about 10 inches tall. Is it too soon to take a cutting? If not where do i take it from?
2.)When should i expect to see alternating nodes?
3)How do i distinguish between fan leaves and branches?
Any input would be appreciated.

1) you can clone anytime after three nodes or so. but ideally you'd clone once sex is determined (if using fem seeds, then anytime after 3 nodes). your best bet for step by step instructions on cloning w/pics is to find the sticky dedicated to just that, and i believe dierwolf is the thread starter.
2) different strains will mature at diff times. most strains (that i've seen, anyway) start alternating around 30 days.
3) fan leaves are found on the main stalk, and on branches. fan leaves is a term for the biggest, usually bottom-most leaves.
