Grow tent setup...im confused

Here we go ...The x-mas bonus comes in 21 days i will be getting a 4x4x7 grow tent ...a 400 watt digital ballast with mh and a hps bulbs...with a air cooled econogrow reflector and a carbon scrubber ...the tent will be in a spare room in the basement ...where the temp is usually about 72 degrees...i will have a little money to spend and will probably go with a 4x4 ebb and flow system or a big foot system 2x4 and a sea of green bubbleponic 10 - 14 plant or something similar...i also already have a 4x4x4 grow box that i have for veg and clones...my question is ...how do i set this tent up so that heat and odor will not be a problem...i have no real experience and don't trust the guys at my local hydroponic store all they see is money and I'm not trying to over spend but i do want a quality setup...im trying to figure out if i need 2 ventilation systems or is there a way to set this up with 1 ... if i leave it to the local hydro guys i will be broke they already tried to sell me a $600 buck air cooled 400 watt light and i found a better light on-line for $230...so I'm not trying to get help there...not sure what the best configuration will be...i have ww seeds and already have 6 plants ready to clone ...

Get a good duct fan (S+P TD fans are powerful and very quiet) and connect your carbon scrubber to the intake. Vent to outside the tent (make a hole in the ceiling/top of one wall to fit the outlet of the fan/ducting). You're done.

Be sure and have a hole somewhere (at the bottom) to let air come in. About twice the size of the exhaust is usually fine.

so having the air cooled reflector is of no use ??...i plan on using c02...so i wanted to cool the reflector with outside air and exhaust that hot air outside the tent ...also i was gonna use your co2 formula and or some co2 pucks every other day during the flowering period....when the lights are on...thats why i was wondering about 2 ventilation units...one to scub air for odor ...and one for cooling the reflector so i can get it really close to the plants with out having them get heat stressed or burned...

With added CO2, you can get off with higher temperatures. But they shouldn't be too high...

Fit your intake (at the bottom) with ducting, and feed that ducting up to the air-cooled reflector. Then your scrubber connects to the exhaust, and that's the whole deal with a single exhaust fan.

If the room is air-tight, and the intake is the same size as the exhaust, the cool air will rush in at the same speed it leaves the exhaust, keeping the lamp quite cool.
