check out the 'oasis 12/12 grow from seed'. that fella has a grow going at the mo under the same light for 12 hours a day start to finish. looks like hes gonna get some nice buds too
also read up on lowryders, an autoflowering plant wich is finished around 60days after ploanting the seed. under many different light cycles (check out the tulips gro.
hope i helped

If you have a decent little space, like a few feet by a fe feet by a decent height. I would Look at a 400W HPS system, you can buy them from hydro shops as a package.
For this you will get. A 400w light fixture with some type of reflector on top, and a ballast.
You may need to buy the bulb seperate, but most places would include one.
You can grow about 3-4 plants using this light, from seedling to fat bud.
Hope this helps.
(This is only my opinion, other may see things different)
Cheers

Self ballasted 160w bulbs? I wanna see. If they are truly 160w of plug and play light, and not incandescent, yes they should be excellent lights.

yea, well if you wanna get real good bud, id add a 250 watt hps to those lights. that is if they arent incandescent. im figuring they are big cfls or the likes. My 250 watt hps was $100 with shipping on ebay! A HPS will dramatically increase the amount of bud, and the quality of the bud you get.

and just a reminder, lights arent all you need to grow pot, fans, timers, meters, and more are needed for a sucessful grow!

I have no clue what those are. They can't be incandescent because that's too efficient for incandescent. It says blue spectrum, so it would be best for veg, and not as great for flowering. Go for it, but you'd probly be best off getting a 250hps to use during flowering to add red spectrum which is important in flower.

I agree they'll probably work for vegging, however they'll be no good for flowering and I'd get a 400HPS not a 250 and then get a conversion bulb for your next grow so you can use it all the way through. I bought a 400HPS with conversion bulb for 125 including shipping a few months back on ebay.
