High heat throughout grow

If the growspace temp is consistantly 95 degrees when the light is on, assuming they dont go hermie, will it still flower? Would the yield be low?

I realize these are far from optimal temps but they can't be reduced and I would love to hear from someone who has grown at high temps if possible.

Please let me know.
Thanks
D

I havnt seen anything that warm personally, but I hear if you increase the CO2 it can handle higher temperatures, read up and maybe make a 2 liter CO2?

You can grow in such high temps if you supplement with a CO2 generator.

Thanks for the quick response. I found info for DIY CO2. Is this needed throughout the grow or only during flowering?

if you can afford a co2 system tell us why you can't cool your grow? You'd be surprized at the inventive ways ppl on gc use to reduce the heat in the grow area.

IMO with such high temps you need high CO2 levels, like 1500 PPM. D.I.Y CO2 will never get it to that level. I say never you might be able to with a few gallons of "Stink Juice"

But then if it's all you have, do your best and at the end of the day you get what you get.

my first grow was high temps. like yours. low to mid 90's. unless you have the other equipment necessary to run co2 (sealed room, fans on timers etc.) co2 will be pretty much wasted. if you're able, open a window and place a fan in front of it. an oscillating fan blowin fresh air into and around the room will really help. if you have generous fresh air/airflow, you'll be fine. my end product was very nice. from six plants under 1000 watts i got close to a pound. p.s. i didn't see even 1 nanner!

DIY CO2 systems are very inexpensive.

The closet with the grow is sealed. Holes can not be put in the door or wall for vents. There is no air circulation except when the door is opened a few times a day or sometimes its left open all night. There is a fan in there but obviously its just recirculating hot air.

The plants look great so far (2weeks) but I was just curious if it was a waste of time given the situation. If CO2 will correct the problem - thats great....I would still like some more responses/experiences.

Thanks again.
D

OK if all you can do is blow hot air about in a closed room then ANY CO2 will be effective, MJ needs 300 PPM minimum to grow so after a few hours of blowing hot air about it's gonna drop some so get it in there asap.

Any pics ?

yo, if you want to find a solution to your problem then how about giving all the details in advance? after everyone has chimed in, now you tell us you have no fresh air access. anything else you're not telling? try using a co2 powered bicycle tire inflator or the yeast recipe.....

Thanks for the responses guys. I did say the temp couldnt be reduced but I guess I could have explained why.

I don't think the yeast CO2 thing will fix the problem but its definately needed in any case.

Anyone here used a portable AC unit? I found a cheap one online but its designed for a cooler and the only way to regulate temp would be to put it on a timer to turn on/off every hour or so?

Cant seem to find anything in my price range (~100$) that has temp sensor/control.

Any thoughts on this solution?

D

The prob with that is that A) you need to replace the Ice B) adding humidity to grow.

Solution, got a hundred bucks, buy a cheap door and cut the holes in it.
