best/cheapest way to absorb moisture in a TINY closet?

a small dehumidifier is an option if its inexpensive and quiet as hell. do i have any other options?

There is a product called "Moisture Mate" available from loads of hardware stores and contains V-Dry crystals of calcium chloride. That will take away the moisture but I have no idea what effect it will have on the plant.

As stated a better ventilation system is best.

Damp Rid is available in any hardware store. Might be a different brand name for the same stuff Max is talking about.

thanks guys! i froogled "damp rid" and it seems like a lot of stores carry it and its cheap too.

a fan would probably be cheaper

I guess it's similar to the sachets you get in certain electrical products. Office equipment (like photocopiers) come with HUGE sachets. When full, you can dry them over a radiator, in the oven, etc. They always have "DO NOT EAT" printed on them, so I never have.

Rice (and other stuff) works, too, though not quite as well as the dessicant sachets.

But yeah, why not just get better ventilation?
