Help!! PLZ help! Newbee mistake

okay, well I was transplanting my plant today, its about 4 weeks old , into its permanent pot, and its first time being transplanted, and all the dirt fell off the roots, so I imediately rinsed the roots with a mister bottle and dug a hole in the permanent organic potting soil with 10-10-10 mixed in it and burried it with the roots going strait down, is it going to be okay? So far its still stiff and green

Yeah it should be ok, but it will take some time. I'm sure you'll notice some stress, and slow down in new growth, but the roots ususally work themselves out, and the plant hopefully will survive..

Why did you rinse the roots after they fell out? shoulda just put everything right into the new whole including as much of the dirt that was left on the roots. Also what is this 10-10-10 stuff? since you had problems I personally would have held off with any strong feedings until growth started back up.. How large is the plant?

At anyrate mj is very strong for the most part, and do usuaslly come back from stress with some time

If it is still stiff it will be OK. One of the first signs of distress is the plants go limp.

And also you may want to water the plant before you transplant next time, it helps the soil stay in a clump around the roots.
