Ok i am new to GC and got 2 CFLs 75W daylight 6500k and 1100 luiums each...i know that these will not work that good but will they grow one plant? and ya i know they have to be very close to the plant.

Those should be fine. Do they really use 75w or do they use 23w but say they are the equiv of 75 watts?

At 1,100 lumens those are the "equivalent" to 75w bulbs, true watts is probably close to the 23w you are guessing.

says 19w=75 but says 75 everywhere else...`but thanks for the replys..go to buy a real light(HPS) when i get the money.
