Hello, I have sprout that has been growing for about 9 days, the stem is about 5-6 inches long, a lot longer than all of the other plants that i see on here at an early age. Could this be a problem due to too much heat? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Its caused by lack of light or the wrong kind of light. What are you using an how far from the plant. Picts would be nice.

We already told you in your other thread your using the wrong light, get the heat lamp outta there!

The heat lamp that i'm using for germination gives off very very little heat, especially with the fan running constantly. That is only on for 6 hours a day. I have a UV above it that i keep on 16 hours a day. Sorry this is my first grow im really new.

If you are using Fluros for light, you want it 1 inch from the top of the plant or else it will stretch trying to find light.
