Statrted growing 5 plants about 3 months ago but only put them under 150W HPS light for just over a month now, unfortunatly 3 where Male so I got rid of them, but the last 2 are females, all I want to ask is when I have got them fully finished can I simply chop the plant near the bottem and hang the whole lot to dry then chaged my light back to 18/6 and carry on growing the plant from where I chopped it or will it just die???? any advice/ tips etc welcome, cheers people

If you chop near the bottom how much plant to you expect to have left?

MJ is an annual, it dies every year. Therefore it won't regenerate well from that late in its life cycle. But if you have unripened bud sites still on the plant they will continue to ripen to proper harvest stage.

Before you decide to chop the whole plant, though, often different buds mature at slightly different times, so you probably will be better off harvesting the ripe buds one stem at a time and leaving the others to harvest a few days or couple of weeks later, whenever they are ready.

Cloning is easy to do, some strains are so simple a caveman could clone them; others are more difficult. Cloning this late in flowering tho is near impossible.
