Canna Coco Coir

after a few weeks ive finally got free time
well im in the process of planning my first grow
im gonna hop on down to the grow shop tomorrow
someone recommended i get coco coir & coco nutes A + B
was wondering if i had to mix perlite or anything with the coco coir?
since this isnt soil , what else do i need to know?
anyone with experience on this please inform me a lil

Havnt heard of the stuff, however I would think for your first grow you wouldnt want to make it too complicated, atleast I wouldnt. I dont know your personality, however I would say stick to organic soil, they dont need nutes for the first few weeks, (saves you money), and its good to find soil with perlite already mixed in. This helps keep it basic and cheap until you learn more.

i've used canna coco and their nutes. good stuff! i mix about 20% perlite. i like to rinse my coco but some are pre-rinsed. i do it anyway. get the pk 13/14 too for flower. always allow for at least 20% run-off when feeding and you'll never have to worry about a buildup of anything in your medium.
