Raising humitity and heat stress

  1. Would raising humitity decrease the chance of heat stress and let me put lights closer than I normally would without it? I have cups cup water around my seelings to raise RH mainly because you get a higher female rate with the humity higher from what I heard, and would like to have the lights closer. I'm not sure wether this would have beneficial effect from keeping the plants free from heat stress. If anyone knows, that would be great.

  2. Raising humidity will do nothing for your heat problems..you will simply grow mold..:)

I am so open minded you should only think like me..

  3. Don't stress them.  Keep there temps low and a reasonable amount of humidity.  If you want to give them a higher humidity environment, get a clone dome and mist them.
