what sort of yield am I looking at

I am trying to figure a final amount of yield for my closet. if I have a 400W hps, do I just look at the output of this light in watts or lumens and then say this light is capable of .. or do I look at my space as well and the amount of pots. the internal dimensions of my closet are:

W 1400mm (4.59 ft) x
D 505mm (1.65 ft) x
H 1630mm (5.34 ft)

buckets I am using: 4 gallon each. these are 250mm pots so I can fit 10 into the space a bit of a squeeze. I am going to fit more like 6 because I imagine I need space around each for growth to move outwards. but hypothetically could the lamp service 10 of these buckets or is there an optimum number of (4 gallon) buckets I should use given my light output, ie less than the maximum I can fit onto the floor.

i wouldnt plant more than 6 with a 400w... also yield is determined by too many factors to predict, and the capability of lights for growing is determined by lumens, with ur space u could probably fit 5 or 6 plants
