Im not sure if this has been posted or not, i am new here so if you could give me a break but i started growing this past week and so far so good but since its going to get colder out i decided to move my plants in 3 days ago and i got the lights and everything. but i noticed that the leaves on the plants are growing towards the roof so i dont know if this is good or bad but im freaking out i just want to have some good plants growing, so if anyone could help with this i would really apreciate it.

Some visual aids would assist in the correct diagnosis...

What lights are you using?

How far they off the top of the plant.?

well i got a 250 watt light, not to powerfull probly not enough but its about a foot or lil more away from the plants

A 250W at about 1 foot , over 2 plants.

Sounds like the right amount of light for two decent plants. But i would suggest growing four until you sex them, usually 50/50 chance of male or female. 4 plants should ensure you two females.
Your conditions sound about right.

If you can post up a pic that would help.

Hows the other aspects of the grow:
humidity?
are you using nutes?
Air flow in the grow space?

i will post a pic asap prob later today after som classes but i got them in my walk in closet i normaly have the door shut so it gets pretty humid in there but somtimes i leave the door cracked so that it can get some airflow so is my problem good? or bad? its to early for me right now to take a pic and post. but i will get it up prob after 1

Is that a heat lamp from a bathroom ???

The leaves arn't growing up, some appear to be going that way, but most look that way when starting out. You do seem to have a bit of stretching going on, so you might try moving the light closer to the plants or plants closer to the light.
If you can afford a proper HPS growing light, that would be the best way to go.

Your soil is concerning me a little, whats the soil mix. It looks very hard and clay like. It should be very airy.

Vent and air are just as important as light, The best and biggest plants are outdoor, and mainly due to the abundant amount of fresh air and wind.

If you can get a fan in there and keep the door cracked always your plants will do much better.
