Question my light....

hello, i have some questions about my light if any of you
can answer them please do so ASAP! thanks!

ok my light uses the new FLUOREX technology, it shoots out
the same blue spectrum as a MH growlight, its wattage output is 500W but it only uses 65W and operates at low heat, its LUMENS that it puts out are 8,255, is this enough? will this grow my plants? thanks and please get back to me ASAP

What light you use depends on you're grow space....you should try to aim for approx 2500lumens per square foot.....you're light is enough to cover approx 3 1/2 square feet.....hope that helps you.....Peace out...Sid

Yeah...just make the box a bit smaller....and it does mean you'll have to flower the plants in the same box for the amount of light you have....if you had twice that amount of light, you'd be able to veg in one box and flower in the other......all it means is that chances are you'll smoke or sell you're product faster than you can grow it...there will be a period in between when you will have no smoke and be waiting for the next batch....that's the way i have to do it....but i don't sell it ....so the buds last me till my next grow is ready.....Peace out....Sid

Do you mean after they've sprouted and spent a few days under the fluros....if you add the fluros will it hurt the plant???....if so then the answer is no, the extra light will help them...you'd need a lot of light to damage you're plants....probably more than you or me could afford...lol...Peace out....Sid
