ditch weed

my friend lives on a farm and has about 3 huge patches of ditch weed. they are all still in seed form but i can already see crystals on some while others are flowery and yellow. i know that females will be ruined if they are pollunated, so should i go back out there and kill all the male plants or is it alright since they are outside. and how long will it take for the buds to start showing up?

would it even be worth the trouble? i can see crystals on the seeds but it is still ditch weed..

just bring garbage bags and kill the males its not that much work

why are you asking what to do if you are not going to listen. Kill the F'n males. There nearly worthless for smoke and unless you are planning selling the seeds(I don't see a lot of potential there as its ditch weed) your going to lose half to 3/4 of your possible smoke. And the garbage bag is so you can cart off the males after you cut them down cause ya don't want to clutter up your grow area.

I think one of my oldest questions has just been answered. Why is it that you can't let the males fertilize the females? Does creating seeds take away from bud or make it less potent?

Seeds also cut down on THC content I believe.

If I'm not mistaken... if there are no seed - the false pods allow for more room for the buds to swell with THC....? Dunno. I believe I heard/read that somewhere, though.
