Dear all,
I got some skunks seeds from a friend and put em to germinate as shown on youtube. 5 out of 6 germinated and I eventually put it in the soil (normal but good soil... I guess.
2 plants died after 3 days out due to lack of water. I didnt know that i had to water everyday since as you can see in the pic its on the window facing direct sunlight approx 10hrs of sunlight.

Now as you can see I have 3 babies and I cannot let them on this window so I attached another pic of a PC casing. I saw that PC grow box works too as I live in an apartment with my parents and don't want them to notice.

I'm planning to have 2 CFL 75W with 24/7 lights on for 4 weeks then 18/6 for 4 weeks thats how far my understanding goes.

Please help I badly need advice and sorry for the poor quality of the pics.

Peace out

Yeah man they don't look hateful. I don't know too much about the micro grows but I can say that the clear cups are bad as the roots need darkness. Tape those badboys up with duct tape but aluminum tape would be best as it's less permeable to the light. I would think that for flower you'd need to go to 12/12 as opposed to your proposed 18/6. Good luck!

1 make sure they have holes in the bottom for drainage
2 unless you have a HUGE pc case 3 might be cutting it, they get pretty big in flower.
3 you can go 18/6 all the way, everything needs rest, and helps with the electric bill a bit.
4 I think you have a lot more reading to do bud

Looks like a good case, line that sucker with some white painted cardboard and duct tape/foil tape paint the whole outside black. Tape off ALL holes. Move that little fan to the top hole where the pwr supply was, run all wiring through there as well. You should be able to fit a power strip and four 23w bulbs in there. Try to make it air/light tight from the inside, so the outside looks normal.

Tape up the cups or move into styrofoam cups, cover the root area. No light on the roots. Poke holes in the bottom of the cups and use a drip tray to catch water runoff on the bottom.

Hope your parents dont find out lol. they might call the cops on you or give you a whoopin. XD

Okay I have duck taped the cups so I guess this is the 1st mistake I have corrected. As for the PC I switching to a tower so bigger room but the concept stays the same. I will buy mylar saturday and will get 4 23w CFL bulbs or do you recommend something else?

As for the cups I am thinking fo moving the 3 plants to a bigger (single) pot.
I cant wait to build my grow box and I want to make it right!

My parents know that I smoke weed and they are cool with it but I don't want to let them know that Im growing in their house lol.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Thanks a lot I get a better understanding on how to build the box now.
But i can see only a fan is that alright?
And should the fan be letting air in or out, I mean the positioning.

I also saw that you have 2 colours of lights in the illustration does that mean something specific?

thanks

Sounds good, I was just joking about your parents, mine where cool like that too, but outta respect keep things undercover.

As for the case, bigger is better, and the cardboard is to keep in some warmth if you live in a cold area, you could paste the mylar onto the board and line the inside, it also muffles the sound a bit.

When you get 23w bulbs remember to get warm and blue. You can use any spectrum but the best is 6500k and 5500k blues, and 2700k 3200k warms. Im using 5500/5000/6500/2700k bulbs mixed and my little babies are already beasters!

Hey Guys,
Sorry for late reply I got some problems finding the equipment. But fortunately I got it all and I have successfully completed the construction of my PC grow box.
Here are some pics below.

What do I have to do next?

Cheers
A happy newbie grower :smoke:

Are you sure you want all 3 planted in the same pot, what happens when it comes time to transplant and the roots are all tangled ??

Hummm I guess I didnt thought of that and I have struggled to put then in that single pot. What an ass...I know.
But let's say this is just for experiment because I'm planning to have a second bigger grow box.

But I think I still have time to transplant them to individual pots.
What do you think would be best?
