| Re: Sexing The start of male preflowers of cannabis This is a pic that was online, and they look pretty similar so, might want to double check with a few other people just to be on the safe side though, but it looks male. |

| Re: Sexing I saw a white hair that was split into 2, but in trying to take a picture of it, i bent the plant near the top...i taped it up and added some wooden stakes......I'll check again tomorrow, the male is gone.

That sounds like a set of pistils all right. they can be tricky to see in the beginning, but after time they'll be sticking out all over the place. Congratulations!

Okay, first time outdoor stealth grower here. Started with 4 plants....two have turned out well so far..white widow...just starting the flowering phase now....been in pots since end of May...approximately 4 feet high...I'll try to post some pics...one is stunted not sure it will make it...primary question...had another nice plant saw that is was male plant...everything I read said to remove it..and I did....don't need the seeds so I didn't want it to pollinate the females....is this right thing to do? Research on the web indicated that males generally do not have any potency....just trying to understand and learn....

thanks for the information. Took it down. Female is just starting to show the white looking hairs of the flower. I figure it will be middle to late Sept before it's ready to harvest, unless it really takes off over the next week or two. Transplanted another one to a bigger pot, leaves look like it was being pot bound with the roots. It's looking real healthy again. No flower formation. Hope this one doesn't turn out to be a male. Thanks for the comments.
