Thankx for the reply VTEC,
31 in this case is 31 days since i made the switch to 12/12. I let 'em veg for 7 weeks under a 600W HPS where they remain. They were about 21 inches with 8 inter-nodes of growth when I started flower, and the females showed their sex within 5 days, males two days.
Like I said, they are bag seed but seem to be heavy indica genes, if not 100% indica. Classic x-mas tree/tree of life structure with broad leaves and thick--thumb size at the base, pencil size at the top--stems. At this point 90% of the cola bud is stick!
That just seems odd to me to have this much vegetation and sooooo little smoke after 31 days. That is why I asked.
I'll try to get some pics up this weekend. Hope to get your input.

so is there any way to have your MJ plant grow into a female automatically or you just have to wait it out and see what happens ? also i have a few seeds which i dont know the strain of, i know i could trust them as far as quality, but i wanted to know if they could interfere with one another in any way whatsoever. such as all of them growing into males... that cant happen right ? and when i find out which are the males and females of the group what should i do to prevent the females from being pollenated, because that means they wont bud right ?

by the way im a serious n00b in case you didnt already find out

Nothing you can really do about the female ratio. I have read thingsa but, not sure if they are true. Only way not to get males is buy feminized seeds or clone from a knownm female. Otherwise no guarentees. And yes even feminized seeds are not 100 percent from what I hear.

Ok found "Reverse" thread here on grasscity. Answeres that, but a new thought.

About 8-9 days in 12/12,and a male is positive and If you want to keep a male but dont want to grow a big 5 gallon plant, would a clone be pretty sure to root, or is best to wait and see cutting roots before destroying the "dad"?

If it has 3-4 balls at every node, Better to pull the balls from the cutting or just let them go?

If it has that many balls it might be just worth getting rid of it. I mean the reverse may keep it from hermieing but if the genetics of the plant are hermie than no matter what you do, the smoke won't be kind sinsemilla.

I said that unclear..if it really is full male kept for pollen. But if I got this right, it will reverse, root and vegetation in the cutting, I think youre saying yes?
