Have co2, but high temps are really high . . .

Ok, so I've got two plants under a 150 watt hps in a 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 box in my closet. it has two two liter bottles full of a yeast, sugar, water solution that produces enough co2 to make me feel dizzy if I hang out in the closet too long.

The ambient air temperatures outside are about 95 degrees farenheight today which is very very hot. But I've heard that with enough co2 supplementation, the plants will enjoy the high temps rather than dislike it.

The question is, of course, do I have enough co2 to be of benefit? After I put the co2 in there two days ago I didn't see much signs of heat stress, though before they had. Today they seem to be fine, but it's SO hot, I just don't know if they're okay. The pots are actually very warm to the touch!

I have them on 24/0 and they are almost three weeks old though obviously stunted due to the low amount of light the 150 watt hps gives off, dry soil that does not hold water very well, and high temps.

Even though I started them on three weeks now on 24/0 would it be beneficial to turn off the light and switch to 18/6 now? Or would this be too problematic at this point? Is it okay because I have co2? Should I simply up the amount of co2 to counteract the high temps?

Please help . . . very . . . concerned.

Seriously, cannabis needs to be less finicky. The more I grow, the more frustrated I become. I've been growing for a year and a half now without a single harvest.

EDIT: Lol, the title to this is all fucked up cuz it's SO FUCKING HOT I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT.
