Is it worth it to invest in good genetics with a low wattage light setup?
Ok, so I've got 3 mexican bagseed sativas growing under a 150 watt hps, and while I'm satisfied for now seeing as this is my first indoor grow, I was wondering if it would be worth my while to invest in some good genetics despite my low wattage hps?
I plan on upping to a 250 watt hps at some point, but unfortunately i can't see myself being able to accomodate a 400 watt hps or higher any time soon due to monetary budgets and spacial constraints.
Whenever I do get a 250 watt hps I plan on investing in some better genetics, probably Northern Lights and California Orange. But I don't think I'll be investing in the 250 watt hps for at least 2 years or so when I finally can create some decent revenue for myself.
Bottom line question is: Is it worth it for me to invest in good genetics while still using the 150 hps or should I hold off until I have a 250?
Thanks in advance.
